The North Berwick Golf Club does not insist on formal attire, and smart casual dress is acceptable in the clubhouse. However, the following items are prohibited in the clubhouse:

• Golf shoes
• Caps and Hats
• Waterproofs and outdoor clothing

Smart jeans may be worn in the clubhouse but not on the course.

If in doubt consult the attendant.

During the summer months, tailored shorts may be worn on the course and in the clubhouse as long as they are of appropriate length and design.

Society secretaries and tour organisers should note that there is no 'dirty' bar in the clubhouse. To avoid embarrassment to themselves, their players and North Berwick Golf Club, they should ensure that their party conforms to a good, neat and clean standard of dress both on and off the course.

Visitors and members are respectfully requested not to use mobile phones in the Clubhouse or on the course.
