Catriona Matthew, Women's British Open Champion and Honorary Life Member, has been recognised by the Queen for her services to golf and honoured with an MBE in the New Year Honours List.

Earlier this month the Club held a reception for Catriona to mark her amazing achievement where she was presented with a memento by the Lady Captain. The award of an MBE is a fitting and well deserved end to an incredible year.
