The Clubhouse, recently extended and refurbished, was first opened in 1880, and is known as New Club House to mark the formation of The New Club to fund its construction. It is built upon the site of the old North Berwick road tollhouse, the point at which visitors were required to pay to enter the Royal Burgh of North Berwick.

The clubhouse provides full dining, lounge and bar facilities, and there are locker rooms on the ground floor for both Ladies and Gentlemen.
